I think I'm going to stick with my other brand, Sheec. The thirty48s cut into my foot, and yet still fall off the heel. Different socks for different feet.

Funny - the thirty48 worked great for me, except they come up too high for loafers. I can’t remember who said this in the original thread, but “feets is different, yo.”

The fact that the shoe has such a dark color and so much broguing on it to begin with would make it less noticeable.

No more than $50, and thats if I didn't have a pair of beater shoes already.

Hasn't @Shoenut filled in some gouges with some sort of leather filler? Might could work for the toe gouge since it's over the stiffener.

Oh, I know it was an intentional mocking salutation, my response was meant tongue-in-cheek as well. I wore HM's most of the day, FWIW.

Being on the side helps hide it, but I think the severity of the cut is reflected in the price. I would personally pass unless it was my only hope of getting a rare shoe.

This thread moves way too fast for me to follow anymore, but someone tagged me in a discussion about Shaker Heights boots. I was shocked. SHOCKED, I tell you, to hear anyone refer to them as “limited use” boots. They are the single baddest ass boot to wear with indigo denim, and what kind of pant do American men wear more often than blue jeans?

They also work well with olive, tan, camel, light brown cottom chinos.

I’ve worn mine to death. They are one of the best models AE has ever made, and it’s a crime that they were discontinued. The Vegano leather is soft and comfortable, the last is fantastic, and the herringbone tweed panels are dope. Only that that stinks is the poron insole, so I had my pair MTOed with leather insole and dainite outsole.

Cut is nasty price to high. Kudos to seller for being up front.For me bring the price way down and I'll wear as casual shoe

Happy Father’s Day to those of you who have participated in procreation and are in it for the long haul. For the rest of you... what are you waiting for? Your species is depending on you.

Anyway. I liked this combination so much when I tried it about three weeks ago that it earned the honors for Father’s Day dinner. Tommy Hilfiger chinos, Banana Republic lavender gingham linen shirt, PRL striped socks, AE x PRL Singleton IIs.

This marks the first official official outing for these shoes. Since I just got my wife her minivan yesterday, I just strutted around with them on in front of her today. Might as well take advantage of having a slight surplus of political capital at the moment.
