Hi Folks,

I'm trying to decide between my first proper pair of English-made shoes. The AS Moore (cherry) is about $40 USD more expensive than the Trickers Appleton (museum calf). Both look great for me, and I would be able to wear either one quite a bit. Any recommendations from a quality perspective?

Alfred Sargent’s Moore is a much more refined shoe. Take advantage of the 25% Black Friday discount at AFPOS and the price is £429 / 1.2 x 0.75 = £268 ex VAT, which is almost the same as Tricker’s Appleton at £395 / 1.2 x 0.8 = £263 (Tricker’s Black Friday discount is only 20%)

Trickers has a better quality construction in my opinion.
