The Moscow has interior chest pockets. Also inside pockets at roughly the level of pants pockets.
For those who wonder about the texture of the herringbone fabric, I've found that my Moscow has softened nicely and started to conform to me.
For those who wonder about alterations, I had the sleeves shortened a bit on mine. To preserve the bonding, my tailor folded rather than cut the excess fabric
Last but not least, the shearling collar and shearling in the lining are really great.

I fit my NR to be comfortable with artic line over suit. I am about the same size as Greg, slightly bigger, but very close (54L in Eidos, slightly bigger in Formosa). I am traveling but 95% sure I took an XXL, no regrets. Slightly big without the liner, but just the type of thing you notice on yourself but no one around notices. I love the piece, functional elegance.

Arctic liner is 2 minutes to take out or put in, tops, and is smooth and comfortable, never know there is wool in there (which will last longer than synthetic, fyi). For NYC, I think removable liner is the way to go. That sucker is warm.

Only nit is I wish pockets of jacket were integrated with liner such that your hands were in lined protection when inside pockets. I took my belt off and there are no obvious/glaring loops that make it look bad. I typically go without hood attached and with a scarf if really cold. That is all I have got for you all. Navy herringbone looks awesome.

The guys at NR took your/our feedback on pocket lining to heart and are planning to have them lined on new production going forward. Maybe even cashmere lined (not confirmed) if the cost isn't too high.

Interesting. So I guess Bum Freezer in Medium is probably optimal for me. Thanks for the thorough sizing post. Thinking BF in green or navy hopsack.

Wow, I am impressed, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised, those coats show a relentless attention to detail and desire to make them great on the part of the designers. What about putting pockets in the liner such that the shell pockets feed into the liner?

I am also a little embarrassed, it's not my nature to be a complainer...

I am typically a V in Schneider, and I wear a 48 in Formosa, 50 in Valstar field jacket.

Hmm... I think he could do L on both if not wearing with a jacket underneath. clearly, just like with the Schneider discussion, fit preferences play a role here too.
