what conditioner would you suggest? should i treat these like cordovan, just some Renovateur and a brush?
Some cheapo Meltonian (or other) lotion/cream is all you need IMO. Renovateur is overkill most of the time (I'm aware that there is a 200-page thread dedicated to shoe care on this forum, but... really? :eh:)

11 US in most sneakers (epaulet/puma/adidas) = 45 VOR 1a?
I’m also a 10.5 in Barrie but with room.

Sorry if repetitive, I think that was the clear recommendation earlier in the thread but also ran the numbers against a couple other proposed formulas & got different answers, so lost confidence in my reading comprehension

Correct - 45

So, I'm seriously considering getting the Size 48 of this and need some advice:

View attachment 1058079

I'm a short guy (between 5"4 and 5"5), with a Size 37 chest. I have started going back to the gym but don't intend to go beyond a 38 so I'm not concerned with it fitting too loose, and I have a Ring Jacket sportcoat at the same length so I'm not too concerned with that either. Shoulder measurements check out too.

I don't know if I'd wear it as a separate jacket - I am open to the idea, though - but I do have the matching pants, which have quickly become my favourite pair. I've been thinking about getting into casual suiting, and the jacket presents a good opportunity to jump into that. My workplace is casual enough that I feel I could wear it to work, and I would want to wear it during outings.

I'm wondering about what shoes and shirt I'd wear it with:
- White/cream shirts or turtleneck sweaters are one thing - as seen in NMWA's product shots - but my imagination fails me past that point.
- Shoe-wise, there's always dress shoes. I currently wear the pants with black oxfords, I feel dark brown can work too. Any other ideas?

Depending on the responses, if I waver and don't get the jacket, I may just buy another pair of trousers instead.

TL;DR:
- Should I get the jacket given my body dimensions?
- What to wear it with by itself, or as a suit?

I usually wear a 32 and the 48 worked fine for me when I tried them on.

People have different views on how liberal you can be in terms of what you wear with a suit. Camoshita’s intention is clearly that you dress this suit down, however. Personally I wouldn’t overthink the shirt. Most anything from a t-shirt, to all kinds of knitwear (personally a big fan of the mock neck here, an usually prefer tonal color combos) or shirts with various collars can work if done right. I'd stick with white and blue. Polo shirts in various materials are also a popular way to dress down suits, as are denim and chambray shirts.

As for shoes, most colors of suede will look good. Try sand if that’s your thing. Minimalist sneakers can also look great with a suit.

This jacket is pure wizardry. I still can't figure out which side looks best - it's rare to see reversible garments that really are, truly, worth wearing on both sides. (pics from instagram)

I want that jacket so bad, just can't justify spending that much right now. My trade up credit was poorly timed, and I'm pretty sure this one won't last long.

Great. Talk the brand into producing a size 42.

We already have size 42 made just for us by Kaptain Sunshine (and XXL by Niche) - but this is a style manufactured by Buzz Rickson as a collab with KS, and while we pushed and KS pushed too, Buzz was not willing to take orders for sz 42.

Also, I think you'd be a 40 in this jacket
