My last word on this…I highly value the personal attention NMWA provides presale, both through their curated selections and responses here and by email. That’s important to me. Once I pay my money though I just want my stuff. I wish there was a button I could click that said “don’t waste energy paying attention to me, you already have my money”.
My advice is buy more clothes and products. Of course from NMWA, but also elsewhere. I’ve got too many orders floating around to waste time tracking. So buy more, and pay for expedited shipping if it’s that critical for your sanity.

Anyone have IRL pics of the PF Leaf Overshirt?

PF shirting has been underwhelming for me but the above looks more substantial...

I’m interested in hearing more about this since PF is probably our brand with the strongest customer loyalty. What do you mean exactly? Is it the fit, fabric, make?

Yes the two styles that only had one or two preorders ended up getting cut as the small fabric lengths were never shipped to SC. Sorry 😕

Here ya go. It’s a great pattern and nice cut.

Caveat: I've only handled their standard shirting (no overshirts, wool fabrics, etc.)

OveralI, I felt the value proposition wasn't there. Fabrics were thin, and didn't handle laundering particularly well. They sell an artisan story but the end product seems a bit J Crew like.

That said I am going to give the overshirt a shot - @Trayco thanks for the pic!

I’ll wear it like an overshirt but if your looking for a heavier weight go for the other PF offerings or something like Camo and DBF had this season.

Are you used to Japanese repro shirts or other super beefy stuff? It’s really surprising feedback. PF has never been an artisan story really, it’s a fabric story. The Guimaraes family are in the fabric manufacturing business so it’s always been about translating their fabric expertise and taste into very simple shapes. It’s a made in Portugal shirt with small batch exclusive fabrics and pearl or corozo buttons, for about $100-125. In the context of what we see out there, the value feels as good as it gets.

I hope you like the overshirt better !

Isn't 40 neck size suppose to be 15.75?

I have a camp collar PF shirt and I like the shape a lot, though I’d agree after a wash it’s not as lux as other stuff the shop carries. But it’s super airy without being see through and also half the price of everything else, so.

The viscose lined wool over shirts, however, are an absolute steal, especially with the SF discount.
