Hows the sizing on the Beams patchwork engineer? I'm typically a 40-42ish and M/L in most brands. I'm thinking the L would be good but the VirtualSizing is telling me a small...
The virtual sizings helpful, but a lot of times measurements alone don’t tell the whole story. Agree with Greg that L would be best.

I’m curious if you guys like this new format. We felt that the downsides of doing it live (lower video quality, too long to watch, very few actual live viewers compared to total views) were outnumbered by the benefits of doing shorter, higher video quality drop videos.

Cant watch live regardless so new format is a ++ for me

What would you guys like to see for spring summer tailoring?

One thing I want to do is a couple of super light unstructured sport coats in mock leno. A great travel jacket - maybe in a couple of colors.

I need this in navy. Would be happy to preorder.

Very nice. I don't see many people posting their Project Raglan coats. Did you go TTS or size up 1? What is the fabric like?
I think I sized up 1 but honestly my tts has become L mainly. I remembering getting guidance from Greg on sizing. It ran on the slimmer side.
The fabric is suprisingly very soft for tweed right out of the box. I’m not suuuuper sensitive to wools and such but sometimes tweed can take some breaking in. This does not.

Unsure how tenable it is, but I’d love to see SOME canvassing in such a jacket to maintain some shape. I’ve found that some totally unstructured tend to feel a bit floppy, which, admittedly, is somewhat by design, but I think a bit of “heft” would be great.
As well, would LOVE jetted hip pockets, but this is likely a far tougher sell, understandably.

I sized up one (XL)
I’m normally 52 in tailoring, large in most shirts and knitwear

I saw Greg’s pics in preorder, he was wearing his TTS, and the other gent was wearing one up. I liked the slouchy look of one size up.

The fabric is wonderful. It’s a loose weave tweedy type fabric. It is very soft and spongy. But (as you can see in one pic) not so soft that the collar won’t stand up.

Would love a sports coat and/or a suit to wear on a summer night. I always find it a bit trickier to find things suited for a night out.

The descriptions of the coat made me regret not putting down money for the preorder when I had the chance. Hopefully I'll be able to get one down the road.
