So I am sitting here drinking an $18 bottle of Rittenhouse 100 Rye again, and to be honest, I love it as much as I like some of the other whiskeys almost twice its price. Good ****.

What's your favorite cheapie bottle that you can sip and enjoy and never feel like you're settling for crap?

Evan Williams Black has been ruining my liver for about 4 years now. Usually under $15 for a liter. Can't beat that. Best cheap bourbon around.

Chateau Saint-Sulpice (Bordeaux) is a very good wine for the price. Able to get the 2006 for $12 and the 2007 for $10. Both are very good.

rums tend to drink very well in the 10-20 dollar range. Rum is a peasants spirit
