He needs a cuff, but he needs the tailor to do it.

He also needs a better. more natural pose.

Some close-ups would be nice too, and the back.

i recently bought this isaia suit on the forum, it's enrico model and color and fabric is great. i would like to have your view about the fit.. (sleeves are going to be shortened)

-- It's a regular suit, do you think that i should go for a short ?
-- It has almost 42" chest and i have a 38.3" chest, do you think that chest is too large ? should i bring it to tailor to take off 1" (0.5 on both sides) ? I really am reluctant because in Switzerland it is impossible to find a tailor who makes suits and other alteration tailors may destroy the jacket.

I do like how the suits fit on you too!

Even though I'm more into slim fit, I think the suits fit you well.

Not bad. Personal preference but I too would prefer a slimmer fit. It's a bit hard to judge the length without a full body shot.

I can't put my finger on it but it looks like the jacket is too big on you from the front - there's a little too much space in the chest and it looks like it is consuming you. From the back it doesn't look too bad.

just an fyi - whenever you buy a jacket that is size 40" it will measure out to be about a 41"-42" (for 95% of designers).

Don't worry about chest measurements, the suit fits you fine in the chest, the only issue is the wrinkles in the sleeves in the back but that is to be expected with RTW stuff, overall, it is very good, I wouldn't touch a thing except maybe take the sleeves in just a little bit.

4" of ease is perfectly normal so I do not expect you should need to have the chest taken in, though it depends how close you want it to fit. Even for a very 'slim-fit' look you would rarely want to go below 2" of ease.
