Tried to find an answer to this but have not yet so far. Is there any way to somewhat clean the crepe sole on CP chelsea or do you guys just leave it and feel like it adds to the "character" of the boots? Thanks

I just got my CP Winter Combat Boots, I was just wondering what I should do to keep these in as good condition as possible. Conditioners, Oils, etc...

P.s. I'm in Canada, so the winters get pretty harsh up here.
Hello fellow Canadian!

Assuming you just got your boots and don't need to polish them since they're new, I'd probably mink oil them. It'll condition the leather nicely and also make them very water resistant.

If they're classic black leather CP boots there shouldn't be a problem, but maybe another member or two could comment on this too since I've only owned suede CP boots.

Anyone have any comments on the difference between the Achilles and the Court Lows? Wondering in terms of sizing but also general impression - they look similar. Thanks!

The Court is wider in the toe box - the other differences? I think you can see them! Whatever size you wear in the Achilles get the same in the Court IMO.

They're too long for me, if I get 43. My heel slips and I get creasing in front of my toe. 42 leaves about a thumb's width between my toes and the front of the toebox.

so how come if I go TTS I have a thumbs width between the toe and the end of the toebox and if I size down my toe is touching the inside of the toebox?

we both can't be right!!
