I do trust the power of the M-16 if I have to hip-fire from a short or medium range distance.

I'll try out the M-16 to see if I like it. For me, most of my kills come from the Famas with red dot sight at medium to long range. If I can see the head of the little bastard at long range, it doesn't take much time to get the red dot sight on it and 1 or 2 bursts later he's dead. Perhaps it has to do with using bling which allows me to have the red dot sight with FMJ.

For some reason, even at long range, I'm way more accurate with just the red dot sight than I am with any of the other scopes.

Edit: Ask BHowie how much fun it is to go against me with that weapon.

The bars on the create class screen do not accurately reflect in game anything.

Freebie:

The FAMAS does the same damage, *but over a longer range*, as any M16.

FAMAS > any M16 that doesn't have holo sights.

Thats interesting--I've found the FAMAS is more accurate than the M16. I use M16, though, because I don't have to use Stopping Power with it (and FAMAS needs Stopping Power in Core, IMO).
