Got a pair of gap jeans for 7 dollars today...Indigo dyed, whatever that means...I didn't try them on before buying them and they're MUCH slimmer than I'm used to... The waist fits perfectly fine and all, but the rest is very very slim...I generally like a straight legged cut....I'm not sure if i like them or not....Thoughts?

For the love of god please pull your pants down a little bit towards your hip and untuck or wear a belt. Also, what is going on with those cuffs? Are you going for the thom browne denim look but with really sloppy looking cuffs? Just let the jeans go uncuffed or cuff them a bit lower and try to tighten them up or something. The shirt color and fit is very off as well in almost all areas but especially the arms.

I've tried on the Morrisons(which are the slim ones at the gap unless there are more now), and they looked similar to yours. I just really didn't like the cut of them. Not all slightly tapered jeans are made alike. They just fit me really weird and not flattering at all. I tried on a bunch of budget jeans last year when i was too nervous to take the dip into more expensive denim and i couldn't find anything at the Gap. Levis 514 and 511 work pretty well, h&m sliqs work well, uniqlo has a cheap slim denim that i've seen look good on others. There was a thread about this if you want to try other stuff before spending over $100.

I'm normally a fan of cuffs, but some reason I don't like yours tho I cant articulate why right now.

-1 on the shoes (they might look ok with something else, but not this outfit)

-1 on the shirt (personally I hate the color and the sleeves look uber blousy yet the body looks fitted unless it's all bunched inwards in the back)

-1 on the under tshirt (get a vneck tshirt if you want to wear a T under)
