Does anyone know if there's a way to tell from the code inside a pair of Aldens which last was used to make them? I have a pair that are supposed to be made on the Barrie but feel wide, like they were made on the Trubalance. TIA

Saw these at the Alden NYC store the other day. They're not very well-proportioned... would not recommend, personally.

i agree that 9750 is ravello. gunboats and argyles are very sharp

Never really considered argyle socks, but your pics are great. Purchased several pair of argyles and I'll see how they work for me. Thanks for all the pics that you have posted.

I know this is an Alden thread but lovers of cordovan should definitely consider Darltons as well, they are great shoes

I have Darlton wingtips in 10.5D that are too big for me. BNIB if you are interested PM me before i put them on B&S or send them back to RL.

If you are a 10D in Plaza, then you would probably fit in a 10C or 9.5D in Trubalance, but I think the 9.5C might be too tight for you.
