    Thought.
Does anyone know if there's a way to tell from the code inside a pair of Aldens which last was used to make them? I have a pair that are supposed to be made on the Barrie but feel wide, like they were made on the Trubalance. TIA

Had not seen these before, from the Chickalot06 collection.

Saw these at the Alden NYC store the other day. They're not very well-proportioned... would not recommend, personally.

+1 (but they aren't the ugliest pair in the Chickalot06 collection IMHO - wow!)

Curious, do Alden suede chukka's come lined? The only one's I seem to find are un-lined.
Would it make a difference in comfort if they were lined?

Anyone have experience with the suded ones?

does anyone have any experience with the c width on the trubalance last? I usually wear a 10d in plaza and am wondering if i can get away with a 9.5 C on the trubalance.

i believe it would not work

I checked the style number. It's 9750. I'm pretty sure that's the number for Ravello. As comparion I took a picture of your LWB in Whiskey and my LWB in Ravello. They are similar. Keep in mine that mine are almost brand new so that haven't had a chance to get lighter with age.

i agree that 9750 is ravello. gunboats and argyles are very sharp

Nice loafers mac! Love the antique soles on them instead of the usual black. Oh, and as usual nice socks.

    thank you
    do you wear argyles?

Never really considered argyle socks, but your pics are great. Purchased several pair of argyles and I'll see how they work for me. Thanks for all the pics that you have posted.

You can reach out to RL directly. Also, I am willing to bet there will be a lot of extra shoes of these on sale in the $500 range on ebay and on this site after the recent sale (people will be putting up ill fitting pairs for sale)

I know this is an Alden thread but lovers of cordovan should definitely consider Darltons as well, they are great shoes

I have Darlton wingtips in 10.5D that are too big for me. BNIB if you are interested PM me before i put them on B&S or send them back to RL.

If you are a 10D in Plaza, then you would probably fit in a 10C or 9.5D in Trubalance, but I think the 9.5C might be too tight for you.
