I usually don't like wholecuts, too "elegant" of a style for me. The Bentivegna stitch toughens them up, I think.

I had them make up this boot with a suede/calf mix.
A nice boot but a very long last. I sized down a half size and went up a width and it still seems long on my foot.

Would you believe, HKG airport? I was shocked to find a JL store right in the terminal. Went on a month long trip through Asia with 12 family members - it was complete insanity and I didn't get a chance to do any shopping on my own (missed the Armoury and Chan, among others)...so I was in a foul mood leaving HKG with no loot...and lo and behold I saw the familiar welcoming yellow logo and couldn't believe my eyesOriginally Posted by HRoi
