Personally, I'm not a fan of the 6 o'clock date and the black date wheel. But I think the Speedbird I without the date looks great, especially with the longer, thinner 5 min markers, like on the IWC Mark XII. I have no idea how hard it is to find one of those, though.

I have one and like it a lot. Be aware that some people will mistake it for an IWC counterfeit though.

I normally really dislike watches with any sort of diamonds or jewels, even on women, but this one has a really cool set of mini diamonds on only a quarter of the bezel, which suits the design of the watch quite well (although, admittedly, it is an "Homme" watch that she is wearing). She likes that it pairs well with her ring.

This is the greatest watch on the planet. Made by german manufacturer archimede. This is specifically called the pilot H. Out of my price range, but one of these days...

Very nice - it does look good w/the ring - which could be used to gouge any dissenters.
