Anyone seen this new UniQlo pea coat in person? or any more info on it? Looks less boxy than the other one they have.

just got my Sterlingwear 42S. I'm 6'2", 180 lbs. Any comments on fit? The pose is a little awkward, and a Q-tip is between my fit, but I was surprised a 42S could still achieve some amount of slimming from the front profile. Do my Rescues look okay with this pea coat, or should I wear a looser fitting jean?

I think it looks pretty great.

Take a different picture with a different pose.

Hi all,

I was wondering what casual shoes one should wear with a peacoat? Would it be acceptable to wear black or grey peacoat/dark-colored shirt/ dark jeans/jack purcells?

Any other sneaker-ish type of shoes that would go with peacoats?

If anyone is interested, I'm thinking of selling my Schott 740n leather peacoat, sz 38. Bought it a few years ago, but hardly worn. PM me.

Oh damn. At least now I don't have to go through the hassle of trying to get through to the UniQlo phone orders department. =\\ I'm considering getting a Sterlingwear pea coat, but I don't know what size to get. I'm 5' 7, 135 lbs, 37 chest, sleeves should be around ~24.5 to land at my wrists. I'd like it to fit like this: http://thumbnail.image.rakuten.co.jp...40x240&s=2&r=1 The stock photos on the site look boxy, but this guy has a pretty slim silhouette. Also, is that the oxford grey? because the one on the site looks more charcoal than this light shade of grey.

anyone have a recommendation for a peacoat with a lower collar? Most of these have the traditional massive collars. My current peacoat collar nearly goes higher than my ears!

here's some pics of my Loden Green Peacoat
i have newfound respect for taking pictures.

questions:
-my pocket leather lining is sort of coming out, problem?
-that shoulder roll is it normal? too big for me?
-my back excess material, again I'm not wide enough for it?

You could get the back taken in. Can't tell regarding the shoulder.

you're 6'2" and a 42S is that long on you? I would expect an S length coat to be much shorter on someone who is 6'2"
