That's pretty tight. I would keep an eye on B&S. Pounds...are you in the UK?

While there he wants to buy a blazer and a pair of formal shoes, each within a $200-$300 budget. Are there any places where he might get something decent looking and durable within that budget?

Why buy a blazer in the UK? In that budget range, there are many more options here in the states.

Shoes...many options in that price range. What do you mean by formal?

He is travelling tomorrow. As he is short on time, he wanted to buy the blazer in the UK.
By formal shoe, I mean shoes suitable for office wear.

Yes I'm in the UK, what's B&S? Well even if it's expensive, some recommendations are better none at all! thanks!

Got it. I would visit Marks and Spenser...not the most prestigious label, but good prices with some decent cloth and cut.

For shoes, Loake is probably the best maker in that price range. Check out Charles Tyrwhitt (full line of menswear, etc.). They rebrand Loake at good prices. Many locations around London. If he has some time, shop around. There may be some deals to be had on better makers (Barker, C&J and Grenson).

Most of all, tell him to enjoy London. It's a wonderful city.

When wearing a suit, is it OK if the tips of my semi-spread shirt collar are visible, or should they be under my lapels?
