They shouldn't have let Oliver Stone anywhere near this movie. His moralizing will inevitably ******* up.

Plus, can someone tell me:

1) What Gekko did that would land him in jail for 20 years?

2) Why Gekko has no money?

Looks lousy.

I dont know why film makers bother trying to fallow up a movie like Wallstreet. It was a great movie, done very well. It had its flaws and holes in the plot but overall it was enjoyable and it got the point across in a subtle way.

The irony, IMO is that movies like Wallstreet and American Psycho do the exact opposite of what they intended. Both are about lifestyles focused entirely on what money can buy, about the negatives of materialism and loose morals. The anti-hero usually ends up having admirable traits and the movie ends up promoting the lifestyle rather then dissuading the viewer.

I will watch but only in hopes that Charlie Sheen's character is outed as a drug addled wife beater who dies in a fire.
