I was rather taken with the John Lobb Jodhpurs they had on sale at £245 in the factory shop (I think they're not a discontinued line):

It is. It especially liked the buckle having an extra half turn, gave it an edge. Sadly, while they had a good range of sizes, they didn't have the (UK) 7 I needed and the 7.5 was just a little bit too roomy to make it worthwhile. A real pity.

You own those TB? Those are straight up pirate shoes (not necessarily in a bad way - unless one hates pirates).
