Those models have been discontinued for about a year now. You're best bet is to contact the main Alden stores who might still have some in stock.

Yeah, I love that shoe too! I've got the cigar shell chukka, so nice. But the price...

I don't have just a brown "dress" shoe to wear with a suit. (Bal?) The straight tip in calf looks kind
of un-inspired, prefer that shoe in cordovan I think. I've really been looking for a plain ol brown wingtip....

so i think i am going to kop some indy's... i don't want any predistressed jawns... do they only come in that one lighter brown color or do they come in a dark brown anywhere?
also where 2 kop at a decent price?

Black cordo, suede, #8 cordo, standard brown.

Leather Soul also has/had brown and black calf "Ultimate Indy".
Also a sand color suede version.

since then I added a Vibram topsole on the already thick Alden double sole, so now it's basically "triple sole taper to double sole" and the chukkas are monsters, which is great, as it's congruous with the very gunboat-y Barrie last which are beasts to begin with.

Stopped by the Alden store in DC at lunch--NEARLY bought a pair of frankenshoe LHS in cordovan with a crepe sole/leather toe. They are bricks. $300 down from over $500, but didn't quite fit and $300 is a lot for a mistake. 11Ds are still there for anyone interested.
