I live in Atlanta and today is the first cold day, around 60, this fall; this means I will be drinking a glass, or three, of nice scotch. Justerini & Brooks.

Tried it tonight and loved it. Not even just as a value Bourbon, it's just really, really good. I enjoyed it in a snifter. Solid neat, but I found that it opened up beautifully with a few splashes. Brought out more floral and, interestingly, sweet qualities. I'll be sure to pick up a bottle for my collection next time I hit the candy store.

Having a Jameson & Pepsi right now. It's a little different than a Jameson & Coke, but I have no Coke.

Been sipping Wisers and lime diet coke every night this week. Been getting home from work with just enough time for a big glass with 6 oz of whisky in it, sip it, head to bed.

Hopefully, should have some fun drinks this weekend. Tomorrow night (Halloween) we're going to a torch light ceilidh, so plan to sip mucho single malt

Saturday night, found a new place to try, from last week's big wine tasting. The owner assures me there will be foie and Sauternes for me when I come

Remy Martin 1738 with a few dashes of Peychaud's bitters. It is a good way to calm down after a long day.

Had a 2003 Dumol Syrah. Very tasty. I've had several bottles of their pinots. Excellent grape juice IMO.
