So given this title's thread, are any of you actually planning on quitting Facebook for good after getting into G+?

I personally wouldn't mind quitting FB and starting from scratch. I'll decide if I get into G+ anytime soon.

Keeping up with developments in social networking is part of my job, so I'll be using both FB and G+ for the forseeable future.

For personal use? Yes. Potential for G+ is incredible. I have artists with major followings on Facebook so I'll be there in some way unless they close the doors

You need someone with an account to share something with you on G+. You'll then get an email which allows you to access G+ and set up your own profile. My understanding is that it only works if you have gmail though.

If you want an account, just send me a a pm with your gmail address.

Choose the circle on the left side of the page, then use the "+Add to _____" thing on the right side of the page.

Yeah, I understand the mechanics behind it, but I was was implying to him that he hasn't joined my circle yet because he hasn't formally given me his info.
