how prone are they to the scuffs? Any way to protect against them?

It's because he fell and scraped his shoes. They're not really prone to scuffs like that.

My question for you is, what took you so long to order them? And for anyone still on the fence about them, I think the sizing issues have been cleared up quite well by the early adopters. I'd really recommend placing your order in asap to minimize the wait time for yourself.

For anyone that has ordered from Oak Street, are the shoes insured when they are shipped? The S&H seems high but I'd rather pay extra and have them insured.

Any alternatives to Venetian Shoe Cream to recommend? I should have ordered with my shoes but they were so far backlogged I figured I'd get them later.
