Anyone have any experience with how much EG Flannel work shirts shrink in width/length? Thinking about sizing up for correct shoulder fit then shrinking the width down a size... bad idea?

I was thinking of grabbing a pair of olive reverse sateen painter pants, can anyone comment on the quality of the fabric? I was hoping for a very comfortable trouser with a flattering (but not too slim) silhouette.
