Spent some time at the Levis Santa Monica store today. I was totally impressed with the some of their new designs. Plaid flannels that rival RRL, Leather jackets, slim fit Oxford button downs, cool sweaters, sweatshirts, etc. I think they are doing an great job with this re-design. Aside from the LVC line, they are actually turning out really well made streetwear.

Anyone looking at EG, RRL, Gilded Age, etc. should check out some of their new stuff. The quality may not be absolute but the prices are really reasonable. Better than J Crew.

Funny; I live in Santa Monica and I walk by that Levis store all the time. Never thought to go in, but I'll check it out.

the redtab line is inferior to LVC in every way conceivable other than price, but you get what you pay for so.

Yeah, the way they stock stuff is really strange. I've seen things in a Levi's store that never got on the site, and things that were on the site months before and sold out at the same time. But alot of their stuff is weaksauce.

yeah, it's stupid how that works. there's about half of what's online in stores now and in store there's a really big focus on flannels and work shirts.
