This is in connection to the following thread:

http://styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=62971

Cantabrigian, Iammatt and Binge have volunteered to review the new Crittendon jacket. Poll ends Sunday.

I would put myself as an option, but I would prefer to do a follow-up evaluation with lots of high quality pictures as I do not wear a 42r. That is if tlfurbay approves.

Matt's standards are too high.

I vote for Binge.

On second thought, if we can get any size, I'd vote Zegnamtl - no one does a better photo essay. period.

AHarris, if you're up for it, you'd also be a good choice. You know your RTW and apparently have either an good camera or good photography skills.

Matt will be the most bitchy & therefore gets my vote without hesitation.

Sorry Cantab and binge. You'll have to sharpen your tongue more for next time.

Is iammatt really cleaning up in this poll? You sure you want to let someone who has declared war on the spread collar but thinks cream ties with sperm on them are in good taste pronounce judgment on The World's Finest Hand Tailoring?

While I oppose his war on spread collars, and dislike his sperm ties, I nonetheless trust him to judge fairly and impartially.

Besides, he is already familiar with The World's Greatest Hand Sewing (TM) given his association with Anna Matuazzo (The World's Greatest Shirtmaker) and Rubinacci (The World's Greatest Tailor).

It really should be someone experienced with high-end RTW.

I nominate A Harris.

Thanks Eustace and Cantabrigian. If tfurlbay approves I hope to take some pics and write an opinion after the winner is done with it.

I think the idea was that it had to be someone who is size 42R. AHarris is too tall.

A tribute to your loyalty that you'd stick up for him, but you just illustrated my point. From what I hear, Rubinacci, that impresario you call matt's "tailor," does less actual sewing than Conne does chicks.

True, Mariano R. does not sew, but the sewing there is still very good. When you get to that altitute (of quality, not price necessarily) the sewing is pretty much all very good. Especially in Italy.
