Today I had gnocchi with a locally made sauce I picked up at the store a while ago topped off with a few vegetarian meatballs that I've fallen in love with lately.

Nothing too exciting, but it was quick to prepare, delicious, and rather healthy.

Indeed! 'Twas a good lunch. I never get the ferocious hangovers that people complain about. I know some girls (and a few guys too) who don't drink often, and when they do, they're bedridden for the next day. Luckily, I've never experienced that. I might have a mild headache and feel tired, but I'm usually in pretty good shape even after a night of heavy saucing.

I remember those days well. Enjoy it while you can. Your recovery time will get exponentially longer as you get older.

yes but pretty good for you still means overweight and ugly.

Today for lunch, some takeout from that crappy Bobby Van's steakhouse. They should call it a "gristlehouse" or "fathouse". Horrible.

Do they have good crab cakes?

Crab cakes are my second obsession, the first obviously being Bergdorf's chicken salad.
