Yeah, pizza delivery can be decent money depending on the area.

Also, big-box retailer.

And of course I've never tried it, but I hear there can be good money in prostitution.

How does one get into bartending? I've heard there's decent money in it, but I dunno where to start...

Hmm, reading this thread is interesting for me. Even with the recession, one can get all kinds of jobs without experience in the field. Just last year (maybe a touch more), fast food places were closed with drive through only service for lack of employees. We were literally shipping people up from Mexico.

Sold regularly on eBay and worked on the college newspaper. Also helped my uncle tear up and lay carpet during the summer.

I worked in a mall store that was commission-based, made some really decent money for the time. Easily 2-3 times min. wage at the time

I used to lifeguard during college. It'll take some time and money to get certified, but it's a piece of cake afterwards. Find a local pool service/lifeguard company, they can hook you up with indoor pools during the winter and outdoor pools in the summer. Health clubs are another good bet for a lifeguard. The hours are pretty flexible, the work is minimal, and the pay is decent.

Contrary to what you may think, you don't have to be a fantastic swimmer to lifeguard.
