What kind of jacket are you getting for the Fall/Winter season?

I've been browsing around some online shops, but was wondering what jackets are worth checking out for this fall and winter seasons? I come to realize that I'll be facing some cold weather in a few months from now, having to walk outside from class to class, so what decent coats are out there, without breaking the bank too badly?

I bought all of the coats that my tiny closet will bear last winter, about 6 or 8 in total. Perhaps a tad overboard, but my favorite is a vintage covert coat from the early 60's.

Fall I will be using my APC Parka I picked up from the spring season, it is perfect weight...

I may also use my NDG Marina Parka, with some layers underneath, but probably not unless I am literally by the water, as it won't seem fitting elsewhere

Also in early when it isn't too cold I will be using my Inapt Tight Fit Peacoat

For colder/deeper into winter, I need to pick up a new heavy down parka for this year (someone recommend me something aroudn $500 or less)

already picked it up, a black high buttoning crombie from Fred Perry for chillier eves and London/Paris when I go back in a few months...tho our fall/winters are mild enough that all you need is a sweater and a light jacket and yer set

my daily jackets will be a Baracuta G9, FP monkey jacket, FP G4...the usual suspects

EG Engineer Jacket and Rag & Bone Utility Jacket with some layers for fall.
WWM peacoat and NDG parka from two years ago for the winter.

Considering a Baracutta for Fall but my budget might just have me holding out until spring. Also on the lookout for a short cropped (hip length) winter coat as well but, again, my budget might have me looking at H&M / Uniqlo / thrift for this.

I picked up the Woolrich Woolen Mills Maine guide jacket. Otherwise, I have no plans anymore for getting another winter-worthy jacket. I was going to pick up the Geller M65, but have decided that I have too many winter jackets already. Who knows, I may get the bug and pick something else up.

Where did you get that? I must have that. It's gorgeous.

As for me - I bought quite a few (and will be buying more). My favorite is this gorgeous Shades of Greige one. Will look great with a scarf.
