What kind of jacket are you getting for the Fall/Winter season?

Take a look at Filson waxed cotton. A Klondike sounds like what you're looking for. Plain and simple but can take any hell you can dish out. I wear one in Fall and Spring in wet or dry conditions.

I'm sure it's good quality, though I'm looking to purchase something in a different vien. Can't be horsehide though.

Cool, I'll check the Filson out. One day I'll own an Aero leather, but not anytime soon

OK here's a link to what they have. Their leather is cowhide not horsehide. There might be something there you like or close to it. http://www.filson.com/family/index.j...069836.2069837 US Wings makes a bunch of leather and so does Wested Leather out of the UK.

I bought a hare trenchcoat but it doen't fit me that great and i gotta sell it now. Need new ideas. I don't want sterlingwear peacoat as it wouldn't mesh well with my ****. Maybe a decent cropped peacoat from a different brand, or trench for dressier fits, and a military looking thing or drkshdw denim jacket for my more grungey fits

I picked up a sherpa lined Roebucks jean jacket.
I'd love to find a Baracuta on ebay, the lining adds to this desire as it is my family tartan.
A friend had a camel colored peacoat he'd stolen from some female relative. It was a girls coat, but looked great. If I were able to find something similar i'd cop it with only a moment or so of hesitation.
I'd also really like a FFA coat, I used to see the kids in Lincoln with them all the time and have wanted one ever since. I think at some point I'll do some thrifting out west somewhere and hit the pot at the end of my coat rainbow.

For the first time in 10 or so years I'll actually need something in this department. Thinking a black or navy pea would be nice

When you get it post a pic. I've been thinking about an Aero for a while myself, it'll have to wait til after my once in a lifetime adventure I've been planning.

I've been wanting a peacoat or a short trench for a while. It's just a little strange when you're the only person wearing one. I already got used to wearing a mac type jacket in the spring though, I don't think people will be surprised to see me in something so "fancy."

But I would also like a nice black motorcycle jacket with the diagonal zip or a thigh length brown anorak or something of the sort.
