I'm travelling to Marrakech for a week's break at the end of the month. Last time I was there (1972) I bought dippy-hippie embroidered shirts, studded belts and keffiyeh.... I'm way too old (and wise) for that now. What could I buy, or have made, to usefully complement a fairly conservative, classic wardrobe and that I will want to wear back in London?
I'm thinking perhaps a tailored leather waistcoat, some belts, and perhaps small pieces of jewellery that I could have made into cufflinks. I don't need shirts, probably wouldn't trust shoemakers, and definitely not slippers. Has anyone any experience, suggestions or advice to pass along?
