Just bought some mixing tools to celebrate the beginning of spring/summer - first drink: dry manhattan with alberta premium 100% rye (sweet vermouth went bad...)

fan-freaking-tastic, but now I'm out of ice. Dalmor 12 it is.

Robert Shaw Cabernet.  I know, I know.

Cheers

Straight from the bottle, apparently. :D Did you perhaps mean Charles Shaw?

Nice Ben Nevis CS IB getting 84/100 from me.

No itroduction is really needed to Ardbegs from 70s :D 90/100

Laphroaig OMC - very complex on the nose and not so much on the tongue 83/100

Amazing old bottle of GlenLivet 15 yo IB by GMP 85/100

Some new Macallans no age statement. Got them from Brown Forman recently and haven't tried them yet. I have them at work today and I am quite tempted to check'em out :D

Some French cider I had the other day. Quite dry and yeasty but I like it like that ... much more than smooth and too sweet.

It's a shame spirits stop aging when bottled.

It's honestly amazing how many people don't understand this.

"Hey guys I found this old bottle of whiskey in my grandad's stuff, it must be worth tons rite????" Uh.....no.
