No olives for me, thus no brine, just lemon peel. I used 4:1 Citadelle : Dolin dry. I don't really remember the strength of NP dry anymore, but 4:1 seems too much vermouth with Dolin dry. It dominates the delicate taste of Citadelle (esp. in the aftertaste). But I can see 6:1 working well. Really interesting gin.

Oh, I do a couple dashes of Fee Brothers West Indies.

It's a pretty flavorful gin, isn't it?

Hm. I found it to be more delicate and subtle than a burst of flavors. I quickly cross-tested it with Tanqueray and Tanqueray is much more intense. Much more juniper. Citadelle begins with more aromatics and just develops the distinct juniper taste in the drydown.....
So yes, more interesting to my taste but also easier to dominate.

And the nose. Hardly any juniper but a ton of florals and aromatics. Very nice.
