More catching up. Almost there...

Staying on the Valentine's Day theme, this is what I wore Saturday for a lovely evening out with an even lovelier woman. It was also a rare opportunity for me to wear a suit. Happy Love Day, y'all!

Frickin' cold here today, so some extra layering with a sweater is a must....

I posted this yesterday in the Noodle's thread, so while I'm here!

Wind chill down to -12F so layering is the order of the day.

I like Sander's suit/shoe combo. But I might be twisted in this. A bright suit like that works with contrast.

Thanks CM. It's actually pretty rare that I can wear that type of stuff as my office is pretty conservative business dress. Most days consist of suits, blue/white shirts and neats so it's nice to be able to mix it up a little. I appreciate the vote!

Couldn't be bothered with a tie today...

It's snowing worse today than it was a day and a half ago. Suddenly these three layers seem woefully inadequate.

Dressing down the suit. Take 1:

Mrs. Clags: That shirt is too formal for the suit and tie
Me: I'm aware, but I'm proud of you for recognizing that.
Mrs. Clags: Will you change?
Me: No.

Today I hosted a competition at the Club. As Captain I had to send everyone off and join the field as last out, we came third. It was bitterly cold in the end, bitterly cold, wet, windy, snowy! NVMD.
