I honestly like everything. The jacket is already eccentric, so the sneakers fit. Also its that NY state of mind ish..the home of some of the greatest sneaker heads.. those are some pretty fresh kicks, and Im sure you students comment on them all the time asking where you copped 'em NYI, right?

Gents quick question on length of a jacket. If wearing a SC with jeans or not worsted wool trousers should a SC be a little shorter? I have jackets that I go back and forth with between dress trousers, cotton trousers, and denim and because the length is a little longer it looks a bit strange with fitted denim. Is this just my perception or should a jacket be a smidge shorter when worn with denim than if you were wearing with wool trousers?

IMO, shorter jackets do look better with denim. But normal sportscoats should suffice, unless they are cut traditionally long. Texture and colour is more important.
