Mid-calf.
Good thought on the cut. Barbour is beautifully cut. The Mac is baggy, I was thinking I might have the waist suppressed. I wouldn't do this if I wore a jacket, but that's not really in the cards.


That's going to be hard to do casually. Mid-thigh is about as long as I would go on a casual wool coat. You risk trenchcoat mafia status on any longer options.

'****, jackets/sweaters which gather at the waist are tough to pull off for all but the slimmest of fellas. This one (at least zipped up) is adding visual heft to your midsection.

It is, but I don't think it matters. It's a bomber jacket. I'm sure it looks fine in motion. We shouldn't be so afraid of brief, fleeting moments that suggest the presence of a gut.

Unfortunately, there is a gut there. I continue to work on it. It comes and it goes, yet it is always there.
