Best $15 spent right there. What an incredible shoe. Hard to believe they don’t offer the MacNeil anymore.
The MacNeil has gone away and come back before. That said, the original pattern MacNeil disappeared in after 1997. They then came out with a slightly modified MacNeil in 98, where the eyelet tabs were lengthened and the proportions of the wing were slightly altered. Then they came out with the MacNeil 2.0 ~2015, which was a substantial alteration... that nobody wanted. A year later, they brought back the 1998 version of the MacNeil. I wouldn’t be surprised if the MacNeil didn’t make a return at some point.

Good morning,
can someone help me to identify a kind of exotic leather? I bought them via eBay, but even seller did not have an idea what was he selling. I am lost too. These small follicules are a kind of mystery for me.
Thank you. Jan

Peccary, maybe?

Can anyone assist with an approximate date on these AEs based upon the insole markings? I've got nothing else to go on yet. It's a Macneil, I think. Early 2000s?

Not my shoes. Interesting lot - 2 pairs of 9eee and 2 pairs of 9.5eee Coburne Square. Vcleat.com says Hanover made some shoes for CS. You can even make an offer.

Is your kitties one piece of folded leather? It appears to be made of thin leather and hence more comfortable. I had several kitties loafer that are horribly uncomfortable because they are made with single piece of thick leather that was folded at the edge.

On piece of leather. Very supple. There is an elastic goring on the vamp which further enhances the comfort. The design is pretty perfect.
