They were made 7 days before the wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald, thus changing the model name to “Madrid” from the originally planned Allen Edmonds “Fitzgerald”:hide:

How you strung that together, I’ll never know. Your mind works in mysterious and, dare I say, somewhat disturbing fashion. Nevertheless, I am impressed.

Ha! I’m more than happy to trade.

The absolute coolest pair is a greenish brown pair of Florsheim LWB, @mreams99 wil be disappointed. They either 13A or AA

I wear 13AA in Florsheim LWB. If the shoes in question are Weathered Moss, I believe I already have a pair. If they are the ones that are Olive Green, I can likely be persuaded.

I’ll check later on. IIRC the weathered moss is mostly brown. The olive green is sort of Army Green. These are a dark greenish brown. First time I’ve ever seen the color.

Old(er) LWB for trade/sale

I did not try to clean these up. I just wiped off the dust.

One pair would be a good candidate for Challenge.

Here’s a pair for Challenge.

$5 and pay shipping.

They are brown vintage LWB.

Don’t know brand or size.

Vintage? Oh they got that vintage, pre-curled look for you right here:
EOG001_9PX_F0AAD-1.jpg.detail.desktop.jpg

That’s a real thing. They are selling that shoe. It’s a new 500 dollar shoe that’s designed to look like an old and worn shoe that costs 15 bucks (for a shoe revival challenge). Every shoe in that line comes pre-curled. Like it needs a water bath. Really.

This is what Prada has done to Church’s. What a bunch of jackasses.
Wow,I knew Church’s hasn’t been well regarded since the Prada regime, but I never checked it out since I’m always looking at vintage Church’s. I had assumed a general decline in quality, maybe a few “fashion forward “ additions but Damn!—that stuff you posted could be considered criminal,to do that to the reputations of the generations of highly respected craftsmen is sad indeed

'Mater Monday and vintage LWBs with a rose thrown in for artistic value.
These are my lab jeans, with plenty of hydraulic fluid and bleach stains.
If the aircraft ain't leaking, it must be out of fluid.

Dexter's? I might have to pull out my pair this week. They look great even with light jeans!

Anyone have any ideas who made these shoes?

All brand markings are gone.

Post more pics for us. Heels, interiors, and close shots of the body and vamp. A few of the guys here can identify vintage shoes with their eyes closed.

Bostonians, their Crown Windsor line. They have a very faint style number which is actually the code for the Hanover black shell LWB so I assume these were made for Bostonian by Hanover.

@davidVC says that Hanover made Bostonian's Crown Windsor line. Great shoes!
