Lifetime service on a garment sounds like a marketing pitch unless it is clearly defined and spelled out.

I was paraphrasing because I can't exactly remember, it might have been lifetime adjustments. In my experience with Joe, if he says it, he means it. That said it may just mean if you need the waist taken in or out (as I only ordered trousers), no charge.

I saw these linen silk wool blend jacket online. To me, they have a great visual interest and would be great for a summer jacket. Would also like to hear the thoughts on these linen / silk / wool fabric from the community. Thanks.

Silk in the mix makes it more fragile (and so not as long-lived). It also makes it hotter to wear.

It adds a lustre that some people like.

I stick with linen or wool-linen for summer jackets but to each his own.

Pure linen for me in the warmer months.

I don't like the silk in the mix neither, but there are no mani options in linen and wool. suggestions?

Do people like wearing linen for the tradition, or look because there is nothing cooling about wearing linen. Sure water evaporates from it faster than cotton, but it also wears warmer than anything cotton. Also it frays faster at crease points.

I think it breathes better so you feel a slight breeze more. On hot days, it doesn’t matter what you wear it’s hot.
