Huddersfield Flannel funded. Does anybody have experience with Drago's 120? I saw a nice textured pattern, but I have no experience with the brand.

I only ever got one thing made from Drago: my polo coat in Drago Cashmere. After having it worn for half a winter, it is decently alright I would say, nothing spectacular, nothing really bad. No experience with their stuff for suits/jackets/trousers.

I've encountered a decent amount of Drago products. Don't own any. You can probably find some at your local Saks. The ones I've looked at feel "okay" but unremarkable. I wouldn't pay retail for it anywhere and, maybe this is just me, I'd feel disappointed paying for something tailor-made using it.

Drago gets a bad rap for being the cheap mill but they’ve got some decent stuff. I’m using their technical rugby flannel for a sort of shirt jacket/slack jacket project this winter. Of the suiting bunches Cortina has some decent stuff in it.

I enjoy Drago’s Blue Feel Hopsack. Certainly wouldn’t be my first option for having something done up knowing what I know now, but can’t imagine anybody being disappointed with it. Can’t speak to suiting at all.

This seems like such a great (if impractical) idea for a summer suit. Putting it out into the universe just in case any here are friskier than I…

I asked Luigi Solito about art du lin and he said he considers it a shirting fabric amd wouldn't recommed making a suit out of it. I'm not sure what to make of that because I see stuff made from it all the time online.

A 15oz 3ply linen as a shirting would be wild.

Wasn’t a knock - It’s pretty soft. Could work as a casual shirt I just had never thought of it that way before.

Just a heads up, my tailor stated that Harrison’s is phasing out H.Lesser 313 8/9oz.

It will be replaced with Smith Woollens “gilt edge” and Harrison’s “mystique.”

Interesting. I just ordered a suit from that book. Did the tailor suggest that the fabrics would be moved into those books, or is Harrisons discontinuing them completely?

No specifics. But when I specifically asked to see the lesser 8/9 I was told that they don’t carry the selection book anymore because Harrison’s is phasing it out. Also, the remainders will be moved to “gilt edge” by smith woollens. This is what I was told, not an official statement from Harrison’s of Edinburg.
