All the people buying Julius to fit into their worldview are going to be really surprised when the aesthetic is inevitably appropriated and used to sell cheeseburgers and espresso drinks. Reflecting your darkness/depression/malcontent status by wearing black is attractive and satisfying, but it's also basically bullshit.

edit: i.e. buying julius because it fits into the buyer's worldview

Why does what willy wear have any bearing on how over the line your comment was, especially given the pretty accurate description that CrazyJew was getting pretty analytical about why he wears Julius, as you tend to do?
