Not for me, at all. Saw it secured behind glass on their stand but we mere mortals were not allowed anywhere near it.
It's the Henry Graves super complication piece des nos jours made for a massively wealthy New Yorker working (or rather, owning) a financial institution named after his family name.
It's an amazing piece of craftsmanship and I would have relished the chance to get close and personal with a loupe and a camera, but it was not to be.

What was interesting, to me, about these three, was what united them.

They were each priced at €600,000, interesting price point when the market is supposedly contracting - perhaps the idea is to sell fewer watches, but at a much higher unit cost.

IMO Rolex looks way better without the stupid boomer lens. Sea Dweller and No-date sub look miles better to me because of it.

Maybe I'll change my mind when I'm over 40 though lol

My aging eyes finally converted me. I don't mind it a bit but I still prefer the appearance of clean looking SD.

I’m over 40 and the no cyclops is a definite plus for me in terms of looks. I much prefer that to the Subs.

It's definitely cleaner without the date. I really like the no-date Sub for it's dial symmetry with lum at 3, 6 and 9, although I have several watches with a cyclops lens.

At 40 you'll probably still be fine...it's 50 and older that vision really changes. Many of my friends can't read the date or subdials without glasses...and even some with glasses can no longer read the dates on watches they bought years ago unless it has a "Cyclops."

Yeah, my vision is shot, but I still despise the date magnifier. I'd rather break out a pair of reading glasses than have it. The best option is no date complication, though.

Since I am sure a lot of you guys have been sitting around wondering who I thought “won” Watches and Wonder, no need to fret, here is my list.

JLC
Cartier
IWC

Not every watch from the above was a home run but I think these three did the most interesting and beautiful watches overall. There were some other nice pieces from the other brands but I think you can take 2 releases from each of the three brands above and have a magnificent collection right away.

The Razzie award goes to Zenith. They seem to be lacking an identity and are just throwing stuff on the wall to see what sticks.
