The Uniqlo Thread

My Levis, Bonobos and Land's end pants are 32" - 33".
Incotex pant - 50EU. I want to buy "HEATTECH LONG JOHNS".
Should i go with "M" or "L" ? I think "M" would be fine... but doubts.

Same story with "HEATTECH V-NECK LONG-SLEEVE T-SHIRT".
I wear J.Crew t-shirts and shirts in regular M or slim fit L. According to size chart i need L...

Any suggestions are realy appreciated.

For most uniqlo shirts and outerwear, I wear S. For heattech, I wear a M.

The fit of my charcoal suit from the '14 run is perfect, so just grabbed the navy suit this time. Pants are labeled as a blend on the title but description says 100% wool.

+J order came a couple weeks ago but finally got around to trying the 100% wool suit. Material feels fantastic. The jacket is a tough bigger than my '14 +J flannel suit but overall fits well. The pants are much tighter in the waist despite being the same tagged size, which is disappointing. Unless they restock in a size bigger, I'll have to return the whole thing.

Did you consider seeing if the tailor can let a bit of the waist out? I noticed the same inconsistency as well.

Also, I've always heard the Jil suits are known for narrow sleeves but these are wider than expected. I'm considering getting the sleeves narrowed, but debating whether it will ruin the intended fit.

It might be too costly to have the sleeves narrowed as it will ruin the fit that Jil intended since they did update the silhouette with each part to balance each other.

You can still achieve balance with a slight moderation. Anything drastic can certainly change the intended silhouette, but isn’t to better to have a garment that you like wearing?

Thank you so much for these! The denim trucker and collarless jacket are an instant hit for me. Looks like U will have a kids line, too.

And totally agree on Hana Tajima, so many good pieces every season actually, would be nice indeed to see it translate to menswear.

If you mean by the +J Supima Regular Fit Shirt, it fit me with a bit of allowance (which I like); while the OCBD, is quite trim for me. Both fit me TTS, but I feel like I had to size up for the OCBD. Size preference may vary, and consideration for the neck size is also worth noting.
