Just back from first ever visit to the Vass shop. Tried quite a few on to understand the lasts and conclusion: U last and F last fit me personally best and like the more contemporary style. Toying with a U last boot with speed hooks in burgundy box calf all over wingtip or maybe F last is better for a boot?

Also a U last "London" derby in museum blue.

Need to give these some thought. Can see me enjoying my relocation to Budapest. Any thoughts?

These sound amazing: Also a U last "London" derby in museum blue

I recently acquired a pair of U-last suede chukkas. I like them a lot and wear them often during this time of year, but do sometimes feel they can be a bit incongruent if the rest of my outfit is very casual. Maybe the S-last is a happy medium for you?

¿Por qué no los dos?
Which last is the second one?
F last.

What colour is the brown OEII?
Brown boxcalf with "Italian polish". (Q: What's an Italian Polish? A: a Hungarian.)

Who not #2 in black calf?
I already have a very similar black shoe from Carmina. I want an Adelaide.

Agree with others that the F last is gorgeous, but so is the U last. I am fond of the chiselled, narrow-toe look and I think it especially suits a conservative business dress shoe, which is what this would be.

Thanks everyone for your interest! It's always good to get feedback, especially regarding one's inaugural purchase from a brand.

Is this how Vass antique cognac looks like currently? Worried that it might be too light for work.

That's 6125 cognac
Antique cognac is less reddish and slightly darker

That is Antic Cognac, I wear them to work and get compliments.

Ok now I'm confused. LOL.

I've read that the antique cognac for Vass has changed over the years. Appreciate if someone could post a side by side comparison of the current Antique Cognac and 6125 Rark Cognac.

Hi All,

I currently wear size 7E for both Edward Green 882 and C&J 337. I should be 40.5 for Vass U last? Thanks.
