There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Thanks! Red-brown suede on P2.

Those are gorgeous! Why do you no longer have them?

The fit for me on P2 size 43.5 H is superb, though this pair has been resisting breaking in. Must be the honking double sole and goyser. I had to sell off my first pair (identical makeup in 44 length) due to being too loose, but it seems like many have to go through a "sacrificial" pair or two to nail sizing...

This was the purchase that taught me that I need to size down by a half for P2. Fortunately, I was able to find them a new home locally. Terrific boots for sure.

@peppercorn78 Would you consider the reddish-brown color closer to red or brown in real life? I'm wondering if it's close to Carmina's polo.

I think they are very similar but it seems from pics that Vass suede is richer. Unfortunately I have no Vass suede

Its weird but my double leather sóle and Goyser cordovan shoes are not breaKing in either after more than 15 wears . I thought the problem was that they were short, but maybe the Goyser stiching is the guilty (and of coursé those JR double soles)

Ah. Yeah I go down by a full size from U to P2.

In natural light the look more red, and indoors they look more brown. Great color. I don't own any Carmina suede so I can't compare.

I think it is the goyser. My prior pair was identical except with a flat welt and it seems like it flexed a lot more easily. Of course, today is my first wear...

I wear Allen Edmond's McAllister (65 Last) in 9D. Can anyone please tell me how this size would compare for Vass? I would really like to purchase one of their shoes, but I want to make sure I get the right size and am not stuck with an extremely expensive shoe that won't fit.

Like others have said, some sizing trial and error may be unavoidable. Nonetheless, I also wear 9D in AE 65. Size 42 on the F last fits me pretty well length and width-wise.

I wear 8.5D in the 65 last, and take 41.5 in the U last and 41 on the P2 last. F just doesn't work for my feet. You would probably be a 42 in the U last and a 41.5 on the P2 last, but everyone's feet vary. Vass is also notorious for some sizing inconsistency within its own lasts.

How do they handle returns? Or do they not offer such things? It's hard justifying paying so much for something that may or may not fit perfectly.

They do accept returns, but it's a hassle to deal with shipping shoes back and forth to Europe. I was in Budapest for a vacation and went to the Vass shop to be fitted in all their lasts, so I knew pretty well what would fit me and what would not.
