Did you order through Vass? MTO? Double tapered to single sole? Or its an in-stock pair?
Meermin MTO stuck at Customs since 10/5. lol
MTO directly through Vass. Transacted with the manager, Mr. Kuti
Specs that Vass changed:
I requested light brown edge trim instead received dark brown, looks black
I requested cognac shell instead received "whiskey"
I requested double sole instead received HAF sole
I think I prefer the screw ups over my specs. Couldn't be happier. It was such an odd process though since I didny realize I placed an order until after the shoes were made. It's typical for shoe companies to request 1/2 or even all of the MTO fee in the beginning but that wasn't the case. Didn't pay until 6 days ago.
Shell MTO
Metal Toe taps
Lasted trees
Shipping
Wire transfer fee
No duties
Total damage: $777
This is why one should never get dressed in the dark at 4am.
Nice. They turned out well. Dark shade of Whiskey....
NAMOR, those are stunning. No idea how the specs you requested would have turned out, but their "mistakes" look brilliant to me. $777 seems like an outstanding price.
A work of art, Mr Namor, congratulations. Which last is that please? F?
Congrats on your shoosies NAMOR
Mine should be in transit soon and I am crossing my fingers that they fit right!
They can topy a sole, they do it very nice. It will help with your slippage problem and still look good.
Vass can use Dainite, but you need to send them the sole/heel components. I Just bought three Dainite sets for future boots / sole replacements.Does Vass do Dainite soles for MTO orders. I'm waiting to hear from them but thought I would ask here.
