No connection between the two other than making their shoes in Budapest. Probably have shared workers over the years and they manufacture in the same manner. The Budapester you show is a classic shoe, the pic makes it look more impractical than what it is. If you wear any Alden Barrie or Vass 3636 shoe, you can wear that shoe in the same outift. Anyway, back to Vass.Honestly, I don't. It's just a combinations of things - I don't like padding around the ankle, aesthetically, and if there's a stitched apron everything has to be very clean. But that's my personal thing. What I have absolutely fallen in love with, is this: It is, empirically speaking, an utterly stupid shoe and far less practical that the boot. But i just love it. And that's how it works, isn't it? Anyway, back to matters Vass, kind of - I have a question: what exactly is the connection between Vass and Dinkelacker? I know Dinkelacker are a German company who make their shoes in Budapest, but they also make an acknowledgement to Vass in their spiel, and there are some little similarities in their web design. It got me wondering: are Vass making, or managing the making somehow, or Dinkelacker's shoes? What's the connection other than geography?
