Don't think menshoes delivers to US. I can MTO anything, actually have some special makeups being worked on now.

These are prefect for raw denim street look.In fact this will look good on a classic 3pc tweed suits. It is hard to pull of perhaps people nowadays rarely wears causal suiting.

I have these from Vass and think they look quite appropriate with my 3 piece tweed.

Those are nice bertie - I like the contrasting scotchgrain. I'm guessing F last?

How much is Vass MTO? And what one can choose (leather, sole, itc.)?

How you compare Vass to GG?

    Calf is 420€/pair.

@Tombrone, I think Vass should address the one problem which causes the greatest confusion amongst customers, sizing.

Publish both a table which shoes the length & width of their lasts in all available sizes and what they think they convert to in sizing of other popular manufacturers approximately their price point - C&J, Carmina etc.
Another interesting approach is to publish the traces of the lasts.
The customer can decide whether he likes the shape and if provided as PDF files in every single size, he could print it out to see if it might fit his feet.
You can see part of this approach over at AFPoS from AS:
    http://www.afinepairofshoes.co.uk/pages/lasts

From my experience with them, they do not have the slightest idea where they stand in comparison to their competitors, they should change about it.
Other from that, they should get a website, which shows better pictures of their regular styles and of what they are willing/able to do.
Also they should state clearly how to order from them.

Everything else is great as is, especially their customer service!

Will Vass make a triple-soled shoe?

Isn't that a bloody good thing for us forum members and worldwide Vass owners. Imagine if they realise the potential value of their brand in comparison to other high end shoe makers - pound for pound they are miles ahead in quality; craftmenship and value for money.

I am comparing my €500 Vass boots to my €950+ Prestige Lobbs/SCrispins & Corthays and now struggling to justify paying double
for these brand again. I see little difference apart from name and....price!

I think Vass RTW range isn't as extensive in comparison to GG...But going down the MTO route with Vass will
give you more options with little to no sur-charge than GG.

I own several GG, they are light and soft - build quality not as solid as Vass. IMHO.

The birdseye photo looks like the F last - but the front toe photo looks like their R or New PIII last...
