Gorillaz have been doing a series called "Song Machine" where they basically collaborate with a number of different artists.

these are some seriously cool songs. i think Aries is my favorite just because more songs should sound like New Order songs (or feature Peter Hook).

bartees strange has his debut album coming out in november. for me, this is the most exciting music i've heard this year.

this has some tv on the radio vibes, especially during the chorus



this is just ******* awesome rock. it kinda reminds me of at the drive-in.
