I thought the only batches that were being made was the recent pre order for the V2 and no other batches were made due to wanting to fix the issues from the initial release

If that’s the case, I would welcome it. But, that’s the first I heard of it.

I’m just wearing my first two pairs out, because I love the fit of them so much, and I really need to get more pairs into the shoe room, so that I can start rotating. As long as Covid19 is around, and I’m on this relaxed work schedule, I prolly won’t be on anything else, but SF’s.

I found the cross-lace better. Having tried both the Ghirlandina and the SF-01, my own observation is that the heel slippage comes with the depth of the heel cup. I find the Ghirlandina deeper so when laced up, it holds my ankle better. So perhaps the SF-01 fit will get better with some wear of the insole.

Cross lacing made it beter, still slip some thou. Now I feel my feet more securely held.

If I am not mistaken, if you purchased for the second round of SF-01's (i.e. after the first batch was delivered to everyone), and all these mistakes and such were pronounced, they decided to hold off production until all the issues were fixed and it would be included in the same batch that is being made now. @ArchibaldRoh would probably be able to explain it better than I.

Basically no shoes have been done following tongue gate with the V1 design... so that delivery in July which actually ended up including Batch 1 and Batch 2 was all that came through.

Having said that we actually have a few (50 or so) SF-01 v1's left that are available at Naked so those are still fair game though they seem to be going everyday. Maybe worth checking in with CS to get a beater or two? I just grabbed a white roo yesterday.

In terms of getting more, I’d do just that if I didn’t already have every color you offer already on the way. November huh, guess my SF01’s are going to get a thorough break in, and then some.

As of right now they look pretty good, what changes are you making? Also, I am a 42 on the SF-01 V1 and could test if willing ?

I don't currently own a pair of high-top's, but if I wanted to channel my inner 90's, a pair of black roo with gum sole might do the trick.

In terms of comments, I really love the sleek look of the high top portion, with the slight padding at the top. The tongue portion looks interesting, curious to see that sewn portion up close; overall I think it’s a really good high top iteration of the SF-01’s aesthetic.

ohhh boy.....more colors of these, means I’m gonna be doling out more money to AOL.

White leather + gum sole contrast is superb. Is that the new white calf you were working on or the same leather used in v1?
